YOUR FIRST VISIT
Please ensure you arrive AT LEAST 15 minutes minutes before class the first time you attend, as the studio can prove hard to find and we may need to register you as a new customer, discuss any concessions, and take payment, without holding up other customers waiting at reception.
Please note that ALL scheduled classes (unless otherwise advertised) take place in Yogarise STUDIO 2, on the first floor, which is accessed via C-STAIRS from the alley.
To find us, take C-Stairs from the alley to the first floor and then turn left after you go through the double doors. For detailed directions please view the contact page of this website.
Please be aware that Yogarise has TWO studios in two separate blocks of the building. Save your legs and DON'T go up B-Stairs to Studio 1!
What to Wear
There is no dress code. Wear clothes you feel comfortable sitting cross-legged in (for example yoga or workout clothes would work perfectly). We recommend layering so that you can adjust to the temperature of the studio (as you might get hot in the summer, or chilly when you sit still for the duration of the class).
We have 15 minutes between most classes to give you ample time to check-in, change and get settled.
You MUST arrive on time for the session you have booked, and AT LEAST 15 minutes before every class.
If you have booked a class and do not arrive 15 minutes before class, you risk losing your space to someone on the waitlist.
If you are late and the door is shut or the class has started, please be aware that other customers are meditating, and unfortunately we will be unable to disrupt the class to answer the door or check you in. If this happens, we wholeheartedly apologise for the inconvenience.
In the Practice Area
Please take off your shoes before entering the studio.
All cushions, mats and props are provided. No other equipment is necessary.
Please ensure you arrive and leave relatively quietly, as often there are other classes or consultations in session.
We positively encourage Instagramming and Tweeting of our studio, however, we kindly also ask that your mobile phone / smart watch is fully powered off before class starts (to avoid devices vibrating when on 'silent' during a class).
If you are able, please help your teacher by carrying and storing your cushions in the storage cupboard after your class.
Lost & Found
All students are responsible for their own belongings. Unfortunately we have no lockable storage, though the reception area is locked before each class begins. We recommend keeping valuables on your person. Please feel free to bring them with you into the practice area.
All items left behind will be stored in ‘Lost & Found’. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you think you might have left something at the studio. Items will be kept for one month and anything left unclaimed will be donated to charity.
‘Anytime’ classes include all regular classes listed on the Levitate timetable.
Drop-in memberships, class packs and unlimited passes purchased at the studio or online are non-refundable.
Intro Offers are valid for new customers only. Once you have purchased any class or intro offer you are no longer considered a new customer. If you have questions, please enquire with reception (email@example.com) BEFORE booking your first class.
The ‘1 Month Unlimited (Intro Offer)’ is non-refundable and non-extendable and can only be purchased by new customers ONCE. It is valid for 1 calendar month, starting from the date of purchase, and once started it cannot be interrupted.
All class packs and monthly passes activate on the date of first sale.
Once the first class is booked you cannot book another class on a previous date. You can only book classes on dates that fall after your activation date.
Booking and Waitlists
We strongly recommend that you book your class in advance as we have a limited number of spaces. If the class is fully booked you can join the waitlist. Please note, you will need to have a valid payment option to join the list.
If you are on the waitlist and a space opens up (due to a cancellation) and you are next in line, you will receive an auto-email notifying you that you have been added to the class register. This service is fully automated and can reach you at any time.
If you receive the notification email at short notice (less than 1 hour) and cannot attend the class please do email us to let us know.
Class Packs & Extensions
5 class packs are valid for 6 months. 10 class packs are valid for 12 months. Class packs can be extended for one further month for an additional charge of £10.
Class packs can only be extended once, and the extension must be paid for BEFORE the class pack expires.
Intro Offers and Monthly Memberships cannot be extended.
If you booked a class but can no longer attend, you must cancel the class.
Please cancel booked classes up to 6 hours before the class start time. Your class purchase will then be transferable to another class in the future.
If you cancel after the 6 hour cancellation window or do not show up for a class that you have booked, your class credit will be deducted.
Monthly members - if you cancel your class after the 6 hour cancellation windows or do not show up to a booked class, £10 or the full price of a drop-in class (whichever is greater) will be added to your account.
Credit on account or refund will be provided if the class is cancelled by the studio.
MEMBERSHIPS (DIRECT DEBITS & AUTOPAY)
There are two types of Direct Debit membership: Monthly Unlimited Anytime and Annual Unlimited Anytime. It takes up to 8 working days to set up a Direct Debit. If you wish to start practising immediately we can take a pro-rated payment on card until your Direct Debit comes out. We will need your sort code, account number, full name and address to set it up. If you would like to set up a Direct Debit please come and speak to us at reception, or contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
There is no minimum term. You can ‘pause’ your Direct Debit for one month at a time should you need to, but you must notify the studio before the date your next payment is due. The membership can only be ‘paused’ for complete months at a time, not for days or weeks. You can terminate your Direct Debit anytime.
There are two types of Autopay membership: Monthly Unlimited Anytime and Annual Unlimited Anytime. You can purchase these online and start booking your classes and practising immediately. Please note that Autopay is not a Direct Debit as the payment will be deducted from your debit/credit card (whereas Direct Debit payments are taken from your bank account).
Please book your classes in advance within our 2 week reservation window. Occasionally you might not be able to book ahead if your autopay payment has’t left the card. In this case please email email@example.com and we will book it for you.
There is no minimum term and you can cancel anytime. To cancel, pause, or for more info about your Autopay please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
All workshops and courses purchased at the studio or online are non-refundable.
Credit on account at Levitate can be given if workshop/course is sold out and there is a wait list.
Credit on account or refund will be provided if the workshop is cancelled by the studio.
If you would like to give your space to another client you must email us with their name and their email in CC (and they must confirm by reply all) to update the records and to ensure they have signed the waiver..
All items purchased at the studio are non-refundable.
Credit on account at Levitate or exchange will be provided if an item is found faulty or in unusable condition.
